IPPI Training Video 1

This is part one of a two-part training series on how to lead an Individualized Positive Psychosocial Interaction (IPPI) for residents with dementia in your community. Direct care workers often find it challenging to engage residents living with dementia in satisfying day-to-day activities. The IPPI guides direct care workers as they engage people living with dementia in positive ways that enhance wellbeing and address behavioral responses. In this training video, you will see a demonstration of how to facilitate an IPPI for a leisure preference.
